Warden's Well

This is a photograph of Warden's Well which is located in the grounds of the Springhead Pumping Station, Springhead Avenue, Kingston upon Hull.

The sign states:

Original Test Bore Hole Known As Warden's Well

(Click on the photo to enlarge. High resolution versions are available)

The three crowns of Hull City Council can be seen at the top of the monument. This building was originally built for Kingston-on-Hull Corporation in 1864.

As an accredited Automotive Journalist and Lecturer with a background in Automotive Electronics and Automotive Electronic Diagnostics I still find myself going back to my first love, namely Automotive Engineering. I can think of nothing better than putting pen to paper and writing an article on the most ground breaking and mentally demanding technological advancements in the Motor Industry or even better (unless it's bloody cold!) pulling on my overalls and getting stuck in with all that grease and oil. Bring it on mamma!!
